On the path to increasingly sustainable production, Lionhealth and Lionhealth Italia have chosen to offset the CO₂ emissions generated by their activities during 2024 by supporting a forest conservation project certified to the VCS - Verra standard.
Lionhealth's grant supports the VCS 985 - Cordillera Azul National Park REDD+ Project, which aims to preserve a large area of tropical forests in the heart of Peru.
In addition to protecting biodiversity and reducing deforestation, this project generates a positive social impact on local communities: 688 jobs have been created, 39 percent of which are filled by women, thus fostering economic development and social inclusion.
Lionhealth's commitment to environmental sustainability reflects the company's mission as a Benefit Corporation geared toward a responsible growth model that respects people and the planet.
