Lionhealth will sponsor the 16th National IG-IBD Congress - Advances in IBD, one of the main Italian events dedicated to chronic inflammatory bowel disease. The congress represents an important opportunity for scientific discussion, clinical update and multidisciplinary dialogue among gastroenterologists, dietitians, nurses and healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with IBD.

At our booth, it will be possible to try the handgrip test, a rapid, noninvasive and scientifically validated tool for assessing muscle strength, a key parameter for early identification of sarcopenia risk in IBD patients.
Measurement of grip strength offers immediate indications of a patient's functional status and can be integrated into nutritional assessment pathways in clinical settings, helping to identify frailty situations early.
