Lionhealth SB 2026 Award: supporting the new generation of STEM professionals with an impact-oriented vision
Lionhealth SB renews its commitment to supporting the younger generation and scientific education by promoting the Lionhealth SB 2026 Award, an initiative dedicated to female master's degree students in STEM subjects at the Collegio Nuovo – Fondazione Sandra e Enea Mattei of the University of Pavia.
The award, worth €2,000, is reserved for female master's degree students in STEM disciplines—including medicine and surgery—with preference given to candidates working in the field of nutrition. This field is a strategic pillar for Lionhealth, a benefit corporation committed to developing Food for special medical purposes aimed at managing clinical malnutrition.

Promoting talent, vision, and social responsibility
Candidates are invited to submit a paper (maximum 5,000 characters) expressing:
- the motivations behind your academic and professional path;
- one's vision of the future;
- the contribution they intend to make to society through their career.
The aim of the Award is to recognize not only academic excellence, but above all the potential of those who demonstrate a desire to generate a positive impact on others, in the spirit of conscious and responsible scientific leadership.
The judging panel will include Dr. Paola Lanati, founder of Lionhealth and former President of the Alumnae Association of the Collegio Nuovo, together with Lucia Botticchio, Laura Carminati, Michela Cottini, Chiara Fornarola, and the Rector of the Collegio, Paola Bernardi.
A commitment that is renewed over time
The award is part of a tradition that began in 2009 thanks to the initiative of Paola Lanati, who over the years has supported numerous young female STEM professionals through the Vincre, Vikivi, and Lionhealth SB awards.
The 2026 Award will be presented atthe Alumnae Association Meeting on May 10, 2026.
Applications, complete with the form and required documentation, must be submitted by April 15, 2026.
Training, networking, intergenerational responsibility
In addition to financial recognition, the Award promotes a lasting bond between the sponsor and the winner, in line with the Alumnae Association's values of intergenerational and interdisciplinary networking.
An approach consistent with Lionhealth SB's mission: to generate shared value through the integration of science, business, and social responsibility, supporting growth paths that combine technical expertise, managerial vision, and attention to the impact on the community.
